In 2016, the LeAF Academy Trust approached Rejuvenate to submit a proposal to replace a failing Telephone System at one of their schools.

Leveraging their existing infrastucture investment, we proposed our Cloud VoIP Service using the latest Yealink Hardware.  Our offering provided significant cost savings, ease of management and rapid deployment. 

After selecting Rejuvenate to provide the new service, the Trust realised that our solution was so affordable, they could upgrade their other sites, using the savings to pay-off the remaining contract term with their previous supplier.

This project was overseen by the Academy Trust IT Department and Liam Deeney, the IT Manager, kindly shared his thoughts with us.

Rejuvenate IT looked like a professional and local IT company who could assist with the installation of our Wi-Fi in two twelve storey student accommodation buildings. After purchasing a full wireless network of Meraki equipment, Rejuvenate installed the Cisco Meraki Wi-Fi kit and setup the wireless network. It was quick and clean with all floors receiving a strong and fast service, absolutely essential for 12 floors of students!  

Once the Meraki solution was all up and running we had our second site coming on-board and needed a wireless solution of the same calibre. Moving away from the recurring costs of the Cisco contracts, we chose Ruckus whose pricing was competitive and a solution of equal quality. We spoke to Rejuvenate IT who assured us that the solution would work together and asked them to setup and configure the whole lot.

Once the building was ready, Rejuvenate came to site, configured a fibre-optic link between the two buildings, set up the full Wi-Fi solution and tested everything, it worked fantastically! That was 3 years ago and we couldn’t be happier with their on-going support.

Since then we have moved our telephone service to the Rejuvenate VoIP platform, they make it very easy to add new extensions and remote workers and saved us 40% on what we were paying to BT.

Having a new server installed and a bonded line for better Broadband connections has not been without its ‘teething problems’; we expected that.
